2. Categories we use

2.1 Essential cookies (required)

• Authentication/session: required to sign in and keep you authenticated (e.g., NextAuth session cookies).
• Security: basic security and anti-abuse measures.

Essential cookies are used to provide the service you request. They are not optional.

2.2 Analytics cookies (optional)

If you opt in, Nomarch uses analytics (e.g., PostHog) to understand feature usage and improve the service. We do not enable analytics capture until you opt in.

2.3 Functional storage

We may store functional settings (e.g., theme) on your device (often in localStorage) to remember your preferences.

3. How we record your consent

When you make a selection, we store a local preference and may also record a server-side consent log (with timestamp and device metadata) for auditability.

4. How to manage preferences

• Use the cookie banner when it appears on first visit.
• Use “Manage Cookie Preferences” in the footer to change your analytics preference later.
• You can also adjust browser settings to block cookies, but this may affect sign-in and functionality.
